The assessment is in three parts (A, B and C) and takes the form of an academic essay, a self-analysis and the identification of areas for development based on that self-analysis.
Part A (1500 words) is an academic essay in which you critically evaluate the importance of self-awareness to enhance leadership capability in the 21^st century, using appropriate professional and academic sources to do so. 40% of overall mark
In Part B (1500 words) provide a self-analysis identifying your strengths and weaknesses across the range of interpersonal and intrapersonal skills relevant to your target profession/industry/sector. 40% of overall mark
In Part C (500 words) outline three areas for development you have identified based on your discussions in Parts A and B which will enable you to bridge the gap between where you are now and where you need to be in the future to ensure career success in your target profession/industry/sector. 10% of overall mark.
You should present all your component parts in one document and your work should be presented to a standard commensurate with Level 7, using APA referencing throughout. You should submit your tool kit findings and associated reflections as an appendix. 10% of overall mark.
