You will be creating an early childhood environment based on the information from your text, module content, and online research of early childhood classrooms. For this assignment, you will be making a floor plan, designing and labeling the classroom with learning centers, developing a furniture/equipment purchase request, and discussing the color scheme. You will turn in a floor plan of your classroom, the purchase request form, and a description of your color scheme. Examples of company’s that sell products for classroom settings include Community Playthings, Lakeshore Learning, Constructive Playthings, Kaplan, and Educational School Supply just to name a few. Decide what equipment you would like to have for your classroom. Please include items purchased, the price, and the reason you want the item(s).
